Reconstitution is one division: concentration = vial (mg) ÷ bacteriostatic water (mL). This printable peptide reconstitution chart does that division for the common vial-and-water combinations, then shows how many micrograms sit under each unit on a U-100 syringe. It never recommends a dose — the numbers come from your vial.

One U-100 unit = 0.01 mL. mcg per unit = concentration (mg/mL) × 0.01 × 1000. Syringe marks vary by syringe type — confirm yours is U-100 before reading these values.

Turn a concentration into an exact draw

The chart stops at concentration on purpose. Why two people with the same vial can draw different amounts

The chart makes it visible: concentration depends entirely on how much water you add. The same 10 mg vial is 10 mg/mL with 1 mL of water but 2 mg/mL with 5 mL — a five-fold difference in how many units carry the same amount of peptide. That is why a dose only means something once the concentration is fixed, and why copying someone else's unit count without matching their reconstitution can be wrong. What is a peptide reconstitution chart?

It is a quick-reference table that shows the concentration you end up with when you add a given volume of bacteriostatic water to a vial of a given strength. Concentration is simply the vial amount in mg divided by the water you add in mL, so a 10 mg vial plus 2 mL of water is 5 mg/mL. The chart just does that division for the common combinations so you do not have to.

How do you read the mcg-per-unit chart?

On a U-100 (insulin-style) syringe, one unit is 0.01 mL. Multiply the concentration by 0.01 mL to get the milligrams in a single unit, then by 1000 to read it in micrograms. The second table does this for you — it tells you how many micrograms sit under each tick mark for that vial-and-water combination. It is a reference for reading your syringe, not a recommended dose.

How much bacteriostatic water should I add?

That is a choice about how concentrated you want the solution and how fine you want the syringe marks to be — there is no single correct answer, and it is not something this chart decides for you. Adding more water lowers the concentration and spreads the same amount of peptide across more units. Whatever volume you add, the chart shows the concentration it produces.

Does the chart tell me my dose?
