Knowing what a COA reports is useful. Believing it proves the vial in your hand is not something the document can support: a COA describes a tested sample from a lot, and it’s only as meaningful as the chain that connects it to the specific vial on your bench. Treat it as documentation to read for completeness — is the lot number the same as the label’s? — rather than as a verdict on quality. Watch the solution, not the seller

Once you reconstitute the powder with bacteriostatic water, the vial gives you something else to read: the solution itself.

The discipline is the same as with the label: describe what changed, keep the record, and route the decision outward.
